We live in one of the oldest neighborhoods of San Cristóbal, “el Barrio de Guadalupe”, local sanctuary for the Mexican Guadalupe Virgin. Our festivities in December are one of the most original and colorful of the area, bringing with them lots of pilgrims from throughout the state.
In our neighborhood, you will find “coleto” Bakeries, the Leñateros shop, the Na Bolom Museum, the famous quesadillas of “Doña Lupita” or No Name Quesadillas (on Trip Advisor), the Thai Restaurant, several art galleries, fruit and vegetable stores, small family convenient stores and a great variety of restaurants and cafes.
You will live an unforgettable experience! With the wonderful landscapes and fresh air with the smell of pine, the cobblestone streets, tile roofs and the indigenous mix will make you feel in an ancient Mexico. Combination that makes San Cristóbal one of the most beautiful locations in southeast Mexico
