Unhappy family vacation/Dirty condo
Upon arrival the condo was not clean,SMELLED of mildew, fridge smelled like spoiled shrimp,dust on everything,dusty air intake/vents,rusty patio furniture,couches stained and itchy, pull out bed had sand in it,master bedroom old tv that wouldn’t work,stained carpets, dead cockroach in dining area and kitchen,in master closet was a pile of broken pieces and wires just sitting on the shelf, we had to cover all the couches with bed sheets just to sit on them,photos online are clearly old photos of the condo.
Suitcase full of medication was left in bedroom from last visitors luckily my small kids didn’t get hold of any of it!!!! And upon our checkout the suitcase is still sitting there has not been removed. Pool/hot tub is not included and have to pay 10$ a person to use it.
Contacted Vacasa and they were not able to get us another condo at the time and we couldn’t get our refund so we tried to make the best of our stay and only stayed in the condo at night to sleep. I don’t feel the owner of this condo gives a crap about the guests,even after calling multiple times with complaints nothing was ever done except a house keeper came and wiped the counter tops for us. The housekeeper informed us she always has issues with this owner and condo. Will not be returning to this place our family vacation was almost ruined because of owners neglect of her property and old photos that don’t show what your really paying for. Really disappointed we couldn’t relax in this condo we payed a lot for. Sent multiple photos of the issues to Vacasa for documentation and proof of our issues with this condo. Property owner didn’t even have the courtesy to call me she only went thru Vacasa Wich is not professional in my opinion.
We are very sorry the condo wasn't cleaned to our standards. It's important to be able to arrive at a clean home and relax immediately from an exhausting day. We have followed up with our housekeepers and they will make sure the home is properly cleaned before future renters. We have passed along your feedback and have made suggestions for upgrades to the homeowner. Thanks.
